"Look at yourself, and you are calling other people boring." Victor commented sourly and stretched on the couch. "Whatever, you freaky German freako. Have a seat. What should I treat you? Sausage and sausage?"

Vaserfal stepped to the side and let Velha enter first, like a man would do to any woman. The Latin bowed to the noble, smiling sweetly. "How are you this very fine day, sir."

Achima's gaze hardened. "A little wort of atvice, I ton't like being made fun of. Ant nein, I ton't like sausage. Much prefer... Ice cream." She smirked slightly, thinking of the colorful ice cream cart boy. Shaking her head, she left the room. She didn't want to spend too long in this man's prescense... She had the urge to kill him herself.

"Quite fine," The man replied, "But I will be much better when my brother is out of the picture. Could I offer you two anything? A drink perhaps?" He offered politely.

"Please don't bother yourself." Vaserfal replied before Velha could ask for anything. The Latin pouted, again, and turned away. Vaserfal ignored him and continued. "So, said brother... Is there any new update about his coming activities? What are the opportunities we'll get?"

"There will be a family reunion where we will talk about the inheritance in a few days. That could be a good time." He offered.

"Do you wish that we annihilate him then?" Vaserfal precised, while Velha wandered towards the family portraits hanging on the wall.

"Oh, is this him?" He pointed at the man with long black hair standing by the right side of the father. "What kind of woman is he interested in?"

"It doesn't matter when, that is just a possibility." The man replied to Vaserfal curtly, before turning his attention to Velha. "Yes... That's him. And I doubt there's any type of woman he doesn't like." He said sourly. "Whoever he can find on the street, I suppose."

"Aaaw, a tasteless guy, then?" Velha chuckled darkly. "That makes my job easier, but he won't know enough to appreciate me. What a pity. Anyway..." The cross-dressed man turned to Vaserfal. "I'm leaving you gentlemen now. My job is... somewhere else. Good luck, Vaserfal. And enjoy your day, dear sir." He giggled again, and stepped out of the room.

Achima didn't go to sleep that night, busy making traps that were easy to port around so she could have them ready and set them up at the rendezvous point. That was the easy part. Actually building the traps was the hard part. Especially with limited supplies. It's not like nobles had that much that was useful for this kind of thing anyways except for the fancy cutlery in the kitchen.

She had more or less set up shop in an unfrequented corner of the mansion so she'd be out of the noble's hair, and there was a lot less...distracting... decorations.

Still, she was exhausted, but wouldn't sleep until this job was done. Because if she fell asleep, this good for nothing noble would get his ass handed to him and then where would she get money from? And not only that, she had decided that she would kill this noble herself after he paid her, since he was such a nasty waste of skin.

Still, there was a time for everything...

Standing, she decided to check on mister Useless himself- What she hereby dubbed Victor as- to make sure he didn't get himself into a bad situation the three hours she turned her back on him.

It was early in the morning, but the mister Useless had already woken. He was sitting in his bed with a breakfast tray in front him when Achima walked in. "Oh, kid, there you are. Looks like I can't stay put at home like you want. This urgent summon from the bank just arrived. Afraid you'll have to escort me there."

He showed her the letter.

Achima read the note silently, and nodded. "Right. But I'm not going to get all tresst up for it." She crossed her arms.

"What?" The noble protested fiercely. "But I can't be seen with someone like... like... like you!" He scanned her from head to toes, squinting. "Moreover, you are just too flashy. Are you seriously planning to shout to everyone that you are an assassin?"

Achima wanted to retort And you nobles' clothing isn't? but she decided against it. "I have oder cloding dat isn't so... flashy dat I'll wear instead." She replied, ignoring the first part of what he said.

"I guess I can't argue with you on that," sighed Victor. "I will meet you at the front yard in a half of an hour. The horse carriage will be ready by then."

Achima nodded, leaving the room. However, she hesitated partially on the way to her little corner. Carriage? They were taking a horse-drawn carriage? She hated carriages. It wouldn't hurt nobles to walk some every once in a while, but nooo.

She shivered, and shook her head. Well, it's not like she could do anything about it.

Achima arrived outside around the appointed time, give or take a few minutes, wearing a simple black vest with a white shirt under it, but wearing the same shorts and boots. She lacked a hat, however, since she only had the one and it was far too colorful to wear.

The carriage was already there and Victor had already gotten inside. A servant lead Achima to the door and opened it for her. From inside, Victor eyed her, still looking a little bit unconvinced, but it seemed he decided not to mention it. "Get in." He patted on the place next to him. "The bank is about a quarter of an hour away."

"Joy," She murmured, looking visibly paler as she got into the carriage and gripping the seat like it was the only thing keeping her from certain death when the servant closed the door.

Victor seemed to be too annoyed to comment on this. When they got to the bank, he jumped right off and skipped away, not waiting for his (sorry excuse of an) escort to follow.

He walked right straight to the counter and placed the summoning letter in front of the clerk, "I received an urgency."

The clerk nodded politely, took the letter and turned to check on the documents.

Achima was also very quick to get out of the carriage, spending a moment to calm herself since she was almost ready to rend the door off and jump from the carriage while it was still moving a moment ago. Noticing Victor had already gone inside, she growled. "He isn't taking dis assassin ding very seriously, is he?" She muttered, before pursuing him.

"This is not some joke. Check again."

It was what Achima could hear when she walked towards the counter. Victor was leaning forward, speaking in that commanding tone to the bank clerk. The guy seemed rather troubled, hastily flipped through his documents, and said, "But I have no record on whatever your problem might be, sir."

"You must have made an error somewhere. Stop geeking around and sort it out-"

"Certify me that the error that you summoned me for doesn't exist, then!"

The (hopeful?) heir of the Johanson family turned to see, at the counter next to him, a young woman agitating about a problem that seemed to be the same as his. Even though irritated, she still looked perfectly gorgeous. Her discrete outfit only intrigued his instincts more.

Achima listened, staring at the woman standing nearby. This... Was ridiculous. So ridiculous, in fact, she was positive it was a setup. She was pretty sure it was this woman's fault, too. The color scheme of her clothing was too hard to miss.

"Gah," Achima hissed, coming to Victor's side. "If dere is no problem, ve shoult go. Now." She growled quietly. "I dink... I dink dis is a setup. Ant quit staring."

Victor totally ignored Achima. He walked right to the next counter, "Good morning, miss. Sorry for the inconvenience, but did you just say that you also received a summon for nothing?"

The woman turned to face with Victor; removing her glasses, she sighed, "Oh yes. I rushed all the way there because they said there were signs of scamming in my bank account. But when I got here..." She gestured wildly towards the counter to express herself. Glancing at the clock, she added, "And I'm already late for today's class... Did you say you received the false alarm as well, sir?"

"Yes. Yes I did. Maybe it wasn't a false alarm at all. Maybe we were fated."

Achima blinked at him, then swore loudly in German. "Verfluchter Adliger," She muttered, storming up to him. "Sorry to interrupt, but fader promist to take me somevere after finishing business here." She smiled kindly at the woman, taking Victor's hand and glaring up at him. "Right, daddy?"

"What? What?" Victor looked totally scandalized by the idea of suddenly having a child. "Excuse me for a minute." He said to the woman, before turning to Achima, saying in a low voice to not be heard. "What the hell are you doing? I hired you to protect me, not to ruin my life!"

Achima's eyes flashed angrily. "Dis voman... She's a duochromatic." She hissed quietly. "You're messing vith fire! Ant unless you vant to be burnt, give it up!"

"She? An assassin?" Victor rolled his eyes. "Did you consider the thinness of her arms? Or the thickness of her glasses? For God's sake, not everyone who wears black with a color scheme is an assassin. Give your mind a break!"
