The Layout of the Lands.... Empty The Layout of the Lands....

The basic layout of this region is an area with a bit of a tropical climate… So it is usually hot and muggy, but in some areas, the air is dry and cool. Depending upon the section of town you are in, the climate changes. This can be blamed by the large condense of magic in the area… Magic screws up the weather.

The Apocalypse District is in a valley area, so there is a high wall of mountains quite a distance away. However, the mountains are unapproachable due to the forest…

The City: This is officially the ‘Apocalypse District’ itself, and it is a large city, varying greatly in design. The buildings are typically larger, older looking, and close together. Alleyways are very common. However, there are different areas of the town.

The rural area contains a lot of farms and ranches (Since the town has to produce its own food, being cut-off from the rest of the world.) varying in different types of agriculture. Thanks to the… Strange weather conditions, most everything grows.

There is the run-down section of town, which is also known as ‘The bad side of town.’ Most of the buildings here are abandoned, and are rotting. Lots of nasties gather around these parts because they can lurk through these streets unnoticed.

The middle-class section of town, which is actually is most of the town, contains lots of shopping districts, flea markets, apartments, and small houses. (There are more apartments than houses.)

The factory section is covered in a thick layer of smog constantly, and is the home of many gremlins. There are a lot of factories, some factories handling more than one product. It is said that this area is constantly in danger of a strange acid rain.

Then finally, the rich side of town, which contains large Victorian-esque mansions and gardens.

The Forest: The Apocalypse District is surrounded by a dense forest. Like the town, there are multiple sections of the forest. While most of it is like a rainforest, there are also coniferous and deciduous areas.

In the rainforest area, the trees are LARGE and come in multiple layers. On the ground floor, you can’t see the sky. It is dark and muggy. The celestials live on the top layer of the trees, Demons and other creatures lurk on the ground floor due to the PERFECT conditions. This area is deeper in, close to the Demon Realm, and most of it is quite a distance away from the city.

The deciduous forest area borders the city, and the trees are more scattered about. Most of the trees are oak, quaking aspen, and willow, but there are many different other deciduous trees all over. Lots of fairies and elves love this area as long as it is far enough in to stay away from the city.

The coniferous, or evergreen forest, is also close to the town. A river marks its border to the city, and is filled with fresh water. The river actually spans the entire forest, and sometimes the river connects directly to the Demon realm waterway. When it does, the water runs red and is undrinkable. This area is usually colder, and is prone to snow. A lot of snow. Some elves and fairies live here. White stags are often seen in this area, as well as some types of angel celestials.

The Demon Realm lies deep within a huge crevasse that lies in between the forest and the mountain border. Meaning, it’s underground. However, it tends to rain or snow for some freak reason.

Most of the Demon Realm is covered in red water. Despite being red, it’s ordinary water and is drinkable (Drinkable for demons… It has some negative effects on normal mortals. )

Demon Kingdoms: (Labeled to the weakest to the strongest and most influential)

Animalia Kingdom: The Animalia is a large Kingdom, but it is also the weakest kingdom. They live just under the crevasse, so they get some natural sunlight. The ground here is cold, rocky, and bare. There aren’t very many homes or buildings; rather there are small tents about. The Animalians tend to move around the kingdom a lot depending upon the season. They specialize in agriculture, but they struggle to plant things due to the hard ground and the cold climate.

Aquarius Kingdom: This kingdom actually has brilliant stone buildings deep under the red water, and they have managed to find a way to use underwater energy without the Pure energy taken from souls. They are extremely resourceful, but they have separated themselves from the other Kingdoms. They don’t care a thing for the other kingdoms, and won’t even talk to them.

Polaris Kingdom: The ground here is cold and snowy (Apparently, rain and snow is also red here. ._. ) and the ground is thickly covered in snow and ice. This is mostly covered in crags and mountains, as well. There aren’t very many buildings at all, the only buildings being stone cabins deep within the mountains.

Shadow Kingdom: Dark and muggy and cold, this is the neighboring kingdom to the Animalia Kingdom. This Kingdom actually has a sort of modern New York City look to it, having large skyscraper-type buildings, neon signs and lights, roads, parks, etc. However, having no proper energy, all of it runs on the Pure energy taken from souls harvested by Reapers.

Death Kingdom: The Death Kingdom is respected and feared due to the powerful Reaper force, and has the largest amount of Second-rank and third-rank demons in one place throughout all of the kingdoms. The houses have a medieval style about them, and they are well-known for their large citadel in the center of the land. The Death Kingdom actually has the smallest territory in the kingdoms due to being an island in the middle of the red Sea. They have small red sandbars surrounding anywhere that has water.

There are also a lot of Animalia servants/slaves due to most of the kingdom being busy with Reaper duties. They need others to take care of household and agricultural needs.

Despair Kingdom: The entire Kingdom is covered by water, but the water isn’t very deep. (The deepest being about 12 ft deep. ) The land looks more like farmland than anything else, having large acres of the watery land fenced off with large houses in the center. (The houses are stone due to the water… Wood wouldn’t withstand it. )

The land is nicknamed as the Land of Tears due to all of the human corpses littering all of the waterways… The Despair Kingdom is well-known to ‘ferry’ people who has made deals with demons down into the demon realm, and then torturing them until death.

Destruction Kingdom: This land is actually covered in a lot of coniferous trees and flowerlike plants, having a bit of a more mountainous look about them. Homes are made in caves and caverns formed in cliff walls. This land is known for its natural beauty, but it is also known to be one of the most dangerous lands to trespassers.

Doom Kingdom: Like the Despair kingdom, this land is also covered in water, but it also has a few dry patches. It has a wetland appearance about it, having huge trees, water grasses, algae, moss and mud.

This Kingdom is littered with ruins of lots of cathedral-like buildings… They are all run-down and crumbling, giving the land an old mystic feel about it.
